When I was five years old, my family and I moved to Zambia, Africa, as missionaries. I spent the next ten years of my life as a missionary kid. We had to return to the States in 2012 because of health problems that my dad was battling. It was quite an adjustment going back to a Christian school, but I am so grateful for those years. I had the privilege of being homeschooled while on the mission field and then being a part of Fairhaven Baptist Academy.

Abby Goodman

Miss Goodman grew up in a Christian home and was saved at the age of four years old. She was homeschooled from kindergarten all the way through twelfth grade. She worked as a nanny during high-school, and helped teach a small class at her homeschool group. When she was 16, Miss Goodman surrendered to serve the Lord in some aspect of full time ministry. Her love for working with children grew as she taught a small preschool class after high-school. Miss Goodman attended Ambassador Baptist College and graduated with a degree in Theology, and is excited for the opportunity the Lord has brought to work at VCS.
